Week 11

Brooklyn Hillbilly (11-8-1)

Carolina at GREEN BAY(-9.5)
The leagues 4th-best QB(Big Ben took over spot #3 after the Cleveland game) takes the field this Sunday after blowing up expectations throughout the year. This team has thrived on a fairly soft schedule with no names in the backfield. These guys prove how weak the NFC is. Much more importantly, we have the potential to see the oldest QB match up in the history of the league. This will give wise-asses everywhere an unparalleled opportunity to make cialis, viagra, alzheimers(sp?) and hip replacement jokes at the same time. We may see the largest volume of bad jokes since the last Manning Bowl. Be prepared. But seriously, about the Panthers. Wow. What. A. Mess. They are at the point where they have to start the QB who doesn't pass out at practice today. Truthfully, I'm tired of these guys letting me down. And I'm grateful that they are playing someone who I know can take them to the woodshed. Coach Fox, you can go ahead start cleaning out your things to make room for Coach Cowher. Packers dominate 31-7

Oakland at MINNESOTA (-5)
I'm not gonna lie, this is like the 4th or 5th time all season Ive deigned to give attention to the Raiders. They are bad, I can tell that much from the stats and standings. But whats new about that? The feeling in sportswriter world is that its time for JaMarcus Russell to get his first taste of the NFL. I cant disagree, the season is over, you've already signed this guy to a contract that's worth $10m more than the deal Tony Romo just signed. I say its time for Al Davis to see what a mistake he made in drafting Russell over Brady Quinn or Calvin Johnson. I wont open that whole can of worms, but suffice to say that 1 great game should not make you a #1 pick. Besides, the Raiders still might get a shot at a Cleveland QB this off season. Anyway, back to the game at hand. The big number I see here is the 144.2 yds/game that the Raiders are giving up on the ground. Even without Adrian Peterson, the Vikings will take advantage of this. My man Chester Taylor may have a big day, though I should be way beyond predicting big days for my shitty fantasy RBs. Even with Tarvaris Jackson under center, I think the Vikes cover. North Atlantic Pillagers beat North American Pirates 21-13
